Brief Introduction

The Department of Accounting was established under the College of Management in 2000. The aim of our department is to train advanced accounting-related professionals with high-level knowledge and skills based on social needs such as the employment fields of various industries. Our department is the first Accounting department of public university in the mid-Taiwan region.

 

The department offers students in two degrees: 

The Bachelor of Science in Accounting

  • A 132-credit program that, satisfies the requirements to sit for the CPA Exam. It also readies students for careers in auditing, industry, and government. 
The Master of Science in Accounting
  • A 46-credit program that readies students for senior position in auditing, industry, and government. It also satisfies the requirements to sit for the CPA Exam.

 

The Master’s degree program and EMBA program were launched in 2001. There are three hundred undergraduate students, forty students studying for the master degree, and sixty EMBA students.
